What we would fix

We would make it plain which company this site is.

ChatGPT mixed Khanex up with KHANEX Global, a commodity trader in Mumbai. Gemini listed Khanex Wear, in Sialkot, next to it. Claude used the old title "AI-Powered Business Intelligence & Voice AI Customer Service."

A clear name on the site comes first. We control the site. A mention helps only when it points at the right firm.

We would also put the firm on review sites. The run found no independent reviews. The owner has to sign up. We did not sign the firm up.

After that change is live, we would ask the branded questions again. We would wait one to two weeks. Engines can be slow to pick up a new page.

How we measured

ChatGPT and Gemini were logged out. Perplexity used the free Search mode while logged in. All runs came from central Pennsylvania.

Gemini used its Flash-Lite model for questions 21 to 40.

Claude searched the web on only 9 of the first 20 questions.

Claude used a personal account with memory on. Memory shaped questions 23, 29, 31, 32, 36 and 38.

Some answers were possibly read before they finished.

Perplexity questions Q29-38 were only partly read.

Results vary from run to run.
