How does a CRM SaaS get mentioned in ChatGPT when buyers ask for the best CRM?
Give ChatGPT pages that answer the buyer's actual question, in the buyer's words, and say plainly who you're for. "Best CRM" questions are almost always "best CRM for" questions: a team size, an industry, a workflow. The tools that get named have pages that match those phrasings and state what the product is in the title and first lines.
Then ask the same questions again after each change and count whether you're named. A single answer can't tell you much. A fixed set of questions, asked again and again, can.
What's the best AI visibility service for CRM software companies?
The one that measures you on CRM buyer questions per engine, changes your site, and re-runs the same questions to see if it moved. Ask any service three things: which questions it tracks, whether it reports each engine separately, and who checks changes before they go live.
Named keeps one fixed prompt set and repeats it to check changes. The Namies draft fixes, and a person checks every change. We track every AI engine you care about, starting with ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Grok and Muse, and report a separate count for each one. Results vary run to run, and we won't promise you a spot.
Is there a GEO agency for B2B sales software startups?
Yes. Named does this work for small B2B software companies, and CRM and sales tools are where we've done the most homework so far: 20 site audits and a 14-product AI check. You give us a short call and access to your site. We do the prompts, the reading and the page changes.
Our CRM data comes from public pages and single samples on two engines. That's enough to spot patterns, and too little to use as a benchmark.
Why does ChatGPT keep recommending HubSpot instead of smaller CRMs?
Because the big names show up on more of the pages it reads and cites: review sites, roundups, comparisons and their own huge content libraries. When a question is vague, the engine falls back on names it sees everywhere.
Smaller CRMs win on narrow questions. So pick the niches where you're the honest best fit and own those questions, instead of fighting for "best CRM" in general.
How can a small CRM startup show up in Perplexity and Gemini answers for "best CRM for small business"?
Perplexity and Gemini lean on pages they can fetch and cite, so be fetchable and be specific. Make sure AI crawlers can read your pages, say "CRM for small business" (or your real niche) in your title and opening copy, and publish pages that answer the question with facts a buyer can check.
Track each engine on its own. Perplexity and ChatGPT often name different tools for the same question, so one blended score hides where you're losing.
What should a CRM company fix on its website so AI assistants recommend it?
Start with what the engines read first. Here's what we found in our 20 CRM and sales SaaS audits (public pages, Oct 17):
- Crawler access. All 20 let GPTBot, OAI-SearchBot, ClaudeBot and PerplexityBot reach the homepage. Access usually isn't the problem, so don't break it.
- Structured data. 8 of 20 had no JSON-LD on the homepage. Organization and SoftwareApplication markup tell engines who you are and what the product is.
- llms.txt. 11 of 20 had one. It's cheap to add, but we wouldn't count on it alone.
- Comparison and alternatives pages. 6 of 20 had no comparison pages, and 4 had neither comparisons nor alternatives.
Then fix whatever the engines get wrong about you. If an answer says you lack a feature you have, publish a page that says so plainly.
Do comparison and alternatives pages help a CRM get recommended by AI?
Sometimes. Plenty of the CRMs we audited had lots of them and still weren't named on niche questions. Engines have little reason to cite a pile of near-identical "X vs Y" pages.
We'd write a few honest ones for the tools your buyers actually weigh you against, with real use-case differences and where the other tool is the better pick. Then measure whether they get cited. If they don't move your count, stop making them.
How do you get a sales software product into AI answers for "best CRM for [niche]" questions?
Pick the niches, write the page each niche buyer would want, and measure on those exact questions. For each niche:
- Write down 3 to 5 questions a buyer in that niche would type.
- Ask each engine and log who gets named and which pages get cited.
- Publish one page that answers those questions directly, with specifics: who it's for, what it does for that niche, what it doesn't do.
- Ask the same questions again and count.
If you skip step 4, you can't tell whether the page did anything.

Named runs the questions, makes the fixes and reports per engine. Email contact@khanex.ai.
Figures come from Named's public-page audits of 20 CRM and sales SaaS sites (Oct 17, 2026) and a check of 14 products on ChatGPT and Perplexity (Oct 18, 2026, one sample per question). Results vary run to run. Named sells AI visibility work, so read this with that in mind.
